There have been 93 IPOs in the U.S. this year, up 35% from this time a year ago. They’ve raised $26 billion, a 33% increase…

And returns have been strong. The one-year performance of the Renaissance IPO Index—a basket of recent issues—is up 23% over the last 12 months versus 15% for the S&P 500.

There were seven biotech IPOs last week alone.
