Why then, did the property Mexus leased go to Thompson ? Surely, those successful mining interests would have expanded their claims if those concessions were worthwhile.

For every successful mining operation, there are hundreds of marginal prospects. Most do get looked at by legit JV explorers, at least from a regional/recon perspective. Some even get drilled.....like Santa Elena. And if results are not promising, the prospect gets dropped. That's what happened, although some will insist that "Argo did not drill in the right spots". LOL.....

After Argo dropped their JV option, PT did his best to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. He took the drill data and manipulated the numbers to make them seem better than they were. Either out of ignorance, or in an attempt to deceive. Probably a bit of both. And then went into a JV with MarMar, misrepresented their abilities and financing, secretly funded them behind the scenes, and produced 8.2 ounces of gold after 18 months of "production". Or maybe 8.5 ounces, depending on which PR you read. Then, lots of finger-pointing at MarMar which even included accusations of sabotage.

I think we know how Ocho Hermanos will turn out. Delays, delays, more delays, and then......a few ounces of gold. And more finger pointing - who will get blamed this time?

Do your own research, use third-party sources, and don't buy into the hype.
