I visited their facility two months ago and posted what i found. What you speak of is mostly old news.
Oklahoma Rig Fabricators used to do all the refurbing and rig repair work, and Five Star solely sold the new oilfield parts and supplies. They were both founded by Mike Marshall, who located them on his 30 acre parcel of land.
Two years ago Marshall combined the two into Five Star, and the ORF employees were transferred over to Five Star employees. Now Five Star does both the refurbing and new parts sales, and was bought by Jason Clayton and his minority investors.
So once the acquisition is completed, and under the umbrella of SSOF, will be the combined sales and knowledge of a 60 year old company and a 30 year old company run by veteran oilmen who excel at both refurbing and repairing oil rigs, and selling brand new oilfield parts and supplies.
They will be the dominant player in Oklahoma with combined sales in excess of $12.5 million annually and profits in excess of $4 million annually.
Are you starting to see the synergy here? Are you starting to see how undervalued SSOF is?
This is exactly why pre-April 2017 garbage means less than nothing.
