I hope IDCC doesn't have to go back and fill the gap, as I am long and have been since 1995. As far as IDCC goes, it has filled every gap that I have seen. Not all stocks do, but gap filling is very probable in most stocks. Yes - there have been studies I don' have them with me; however, if you look at most stock charts you will see that I am right.

A gap happens anytime a stock opens higher than the previous day's close & the price doesn't then retrace to the prior day's close during that day's trade. There are no "unqualified" gaps - that is just a wishful thinking bullshit you came up with.
