It doesn't matter what any of us thinks, it matters what OEMs think.
I hear they don't want any Cadmium in ther products.
Doesn't matter if Hyperion meets the exemption if no one wants it.
That makes it a tough sell. It is old technology even today.

Do they have Cad-free? They say they do.
I say it is not salleable. It does not meet OEMs requirements.
It is not easy to meet OEMs requirements because they have
multi-billion dollar Fabs and can't afford to make mistakes like
Samsung's exploding Galaxy 7 batteries.

OEMs are concerned with reliability of supply, selectivity,
uniformity, and longevity, besides meeting output specs for
QY and FWHM. Its not magic, and the more webinars and
speeches you do does not make it go any faster.

Squires has reported on the difficulties of working with OEMs,
their thorough testing, product requirements, changes, etc.
From the Shareholder report sounds to me like QMC is
much further along in the process than Nanosys.
