Also what exactly is the company listed in Asia in regards to this one here?

Gansu Yasheng Industrial Group Co Ltd (600108.SS).

There is no real relationship. Except that Parent (The Gansu provincial government who owns close to 83% of HERB) also has a minority interest in that one. But they don't control it. Call it a half-sister. Although HERB and that one seem to be located in the same building now.

The company that HERB did an asset swap with, used to be a 100% sister. 100% owned and controlled by parent. There is no mention of a VIE anywhere.

Parent has a stake in at least 7 of these (agricultural) companies in the Gansu region. Most are not publicly listed.
