What makes this worse for those let go was how they were promised a very large deferred income (not stock, salary). Team members there were told they would make twice what they were making as soon as the company hit a sales threshold (it was a very low sales number too).

Team members were also told the module and back end system would be functional by the days they were hired. It NEVER happened. When team members approached the CEO about this the conversation turned into an "It's your fault this is happening" conversation.

Sales generated over 17M+ in pipeline that cannot convert to a sale thus cannot reach the threshold to be paid at the higher rate because Gregg (et al) misled everyone employed there that GeoTraq indeed had a working device and platform. Sales were told to keep pushing deadlines of deliverable test kits to clients who are seeking them for several months at this point with these same clients constantly contacting the company for a status.

It looks like GeoTraq could owe those employees close to 1/2 million dollars in deferred income since they were misled that the device and platform would actually work. I don't think anyone would have taken the job and the deferred income scheme if they knew this stuff didn't (and possibly never) actually worked.
