re: your query on GWON

i wish it was that simple .. but NR (non retail) executes layers upon layers .. so usually i look at very specific aspects
re: *reported* data .. to ascertain where in the money cycle .. NR (non retail) currently is

this is a little unusual (and again time constraints on my end make aspects' viewed rather cursory in this response)

but usually what i look for:

the first thing i look at are volume avgs .. courtesy of Fido (Fidelity) .. data below
and the second being .. is when NR (non retail) set 52 week low in correlation to 52 week high

GWON
Previous Close
05/04/2018 0.69

52-Week High
11/02/2017 6.60

52-Week Low
01/02/2018 0.06

Price Performance (Last 52 Weeks)
-- --%

Volume (10 day Average) 1,457
Volume (90 day Average) 262

realize 10 day volume is far easier for NR (non retail) to manipulate than the 90 day avg .. but notice the time line from a 6c 52 week low on 11.2.17 .. to exactly 2 months later on 1.2.18 .. 52 week high is set @ 6.60

usually this is classic NR (non retail) working cycles of money on any company .. regardless of where *traded* ..
exact same pattern played out (approx same time frame on WATT) .. disclosure invested in WATT .. not invested
in GWON

but here the issue is seemingly with Fido's (high/low) .. per Yahoo Financial there is nothing showing on GWON re: historical trading volume pre 2.15.18

so not knowing the specifics of this company's history (time frame)
i'm looking specifically @ this data below from 2.15.18 to EO last week ..
GWON's PPS of $1.20 was taken to 36c to $1.00 to $1.75 to $1.25 to $1.00 to 5.1.18's *efforts*

notice up until 5.1.18 .. there is no volume in play to speak of on GWON.. so imo an *entity*
wanted the attention that *THEIR* volume usually engenders (scans)

so then i look at what got reported by MMs' re: daily reg sho % on 5.1.18 .. now realize with
this site .. trades done pre mkt and ah's .. bypass what MMs' *report* .. so i would then look at what the tape of trades has to show for that day specifically ..

imo based on years of observing *trading* .. a % marked above 30% indicates NR stress ..
but realize what i look for isn't a one day *markage* .. rather what NR has to *report* over weeks/months and in the case of the rather rare OTC SURVIVOR/s .. years .. 5.1.18's % marked .. is usually NR working the *short* side down on a stock .. if able to be maintained going forward ..but again i'd caution that imo there isn't enough data .. tho' next week there will be April's MM Monthly out .. to digest .. and of course what future days' %s reported re: *volume* reveal

so 52.59% marked on 14260 *volume* on 5.1.18 is significant due
to pattern changed out re: *volume* .. based on an almost total lack of volume done b4 this on GWON

.. but let's see what that date's tape of trades reveals .. which imo is key to understanding what that date's *volume* is comprised of

Historical Short Volume Data for GWON
Date Close High Low Volume Sht Vol % of Vol Shtd
May 01 NA NA NA 14,260 7,500 52.59%

Apr 19 NA NA NA 200 100 50.00%
Apr 18 NA NA NA 400 100 25.00

https://otcshortreport.com/company/GWON

now note the tape of trades on GWON for 5.1.18 to see what was done .. note there are no pre mkt or ah trades on 5.1.18 but there is clearly wash trading being done .. either to simulate *volume* or roll resets between CEs (colluding entities) or both .. so what i see is 3 sets of 2500 done (various price points) and 5 sets of 1000 done (4k at 55c and 1k at 51c) .. leaving 1660 and 100 .. imo 100 may well be a signal for whichever MM *reports* in the PRIMARY spot for GWON for the month of May (to Finra's MM Monthly) realize that data isn't reported until early in June .. and NR counts on *retail* having the attention span of a gnat ..

so 7500 got marked on 5.1.18 .. that is either 3 sets of 2500 combo/s and or 5 sets of 1000 *trades* and a 2500 combo

20180501|GWON|7500|0|14260|O 52.59%

http://regsho.finra.org/FORFshvol20180501.txt

GWON trades 5.1.18 .. note *volume* done in under 1 hour .. ;) .. appears totally orchestrated .. again not something *retail* is known for

12:36:07 0.51 1000 OTO
12:32:42 0.55 100 OTO
12:04:45 0.22 1660 OTO
12:03:47 0.27 2154 OTO .. 2154 + 346 = 2500
12:03:47 0.401 346 OTO .. 346 + 2154 = 2500
12:02:39 0.27 2500 OTO .. 2500 mirrored trade of 846/1654
12:02:36 0.401 1654 OTO
12:02:36 0.601 846 OTO .. 846 + 1654 = 2500
11:56:26 0.55 1000 OTO .. so 4000 goes off @ 55c in 5 minutes (always note pattern change outs)
11:56:14 0.55 1000 OTO
11:55:15 0.55 1000 OTO
11:51:42 0.55 1000 OTO

so normally besides seeing what % gets marked daily .. and then noting actual *trades* to see what is an obvious mirrored/duplicated trade for *volume* purposes .. i then usually check to see who reports to Finra
in what position re: MM Monthly ..

so here is Feb 2018 (no volume to speak of 360 shares .. and only 2 MMs' reporting) .. usually what i look for is the signs of NRs' handoff to another % wise from one month to another .. but note the usual pattern already of a % split in play

Symbol
Issue Name
Market
Tot. Volume (Last Month)
Tot. Volume (2 Months Ago)
Tot. Volume (YTD)
MPID
Market Participant Name
MP Volume
Rank

GWON Grandwon Corp. 360 47,308 47,668 CSTI CANACCORD GENUITY INC. 225 1 62.5%
GWON Grandwon Corp. 360 47,308 47,668 NITE VIRTU AMERICAS LLC 135 2 37.5%

http://otce.finra.org/MonthlyShareVolume

so after 360 shares went off in February .. GWON had zero volume reported in March 2018 .. April's MM Monthly is due out over the coming week .. could be Monday .. but definitely out by EO this week .. if i get the time i will take a look to see if lineup from Feb 2018 *remains* (rough calcs on April volume = 1025) the same .. or gets added to (MMs' reporting jumps) or is swapped/inverted in total

the other data points that can be viewed .. is what gets reported re: *legal* short (remember the days when SMB embeds would gleefully proclaim CONsistently that there was no such thing a short on an OTC stock?) .. but i digress .. this data is dated .. but can occasionally be handy to see
if *reporting* is held in a specific *range* and the length of time that is done .. GWON looks to be too new *trading* wise imo to cause angst *yet* re: *legal*

now that may change if NRs' *efforts* ramp up as was clearly done on 5.1.18

lastly .. usually in alignment with what volume actually goes off .. you can set historical dates to see what time line you want to view because you want to see is what *volume* NR has to engender to attain the 52 week high b4 the resetting effort to take PPS back down .. MM Monthly is also good in this regard .. because it shows which MMs' actually reported *activity* to Finra vs the decoys MM often utilizes .. especially when it comes to noting cycles in play and where in that cycle NR actually is .. they are just starting imo on GWON .. btw i know nothing about this company or stock .. but what i have learned over the last approx 10 years of OTC *trading* observations .. is that NR always has cycle of money in play .. take ups reset to take downs .. once this pattern is ascertained .. imo NR can be played at almost every turn .. realize tho' that almost always *imo* OTC mgmt teams are clueless about NRs' tactics until it is usually too late .. and imo NR can almost always *outlast* both OTC mgmt teams and *retail* (regardless of whether retail is investing or trading)

best of luck ..

Hi 4k, long time,no see. I had a question for you on this stock i'm on.

what would you think if half the volume was short?
I'm not sure what to make of it, pretty sure it was only one trader though.
