IMHO, GE will NEVER be the go-to authority on AM inspection, because companies like Siemens, Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney, and everyone else will be very reluctant to send their proprietary designs to some division of GE for inspection and approval. The same goes for EOS and other OEMs. GE already has a reputation for being a bully, and this patent filing issue with Sigma only further validates that.



I agree fully, and looking back I tend to think that Simga's stock valuation was a bit inflated back then with the hype surrounding their dealings with GE, where as now I see the company as being undervalued based on their product development and the amount of interest they've garnered from companies not named GE.


Also, according to the 10-k, there are only 531 of us shareholders.



This was likely the shareholder of record count, and likely doesn't include most of us here that own shares through discounted brokerages.
