But shares of both classes of common stock have equal claims against earnings, assets (if the corp is liquidated) and dividends. For example, in the unlikely event Fitbit corp makes a profit and pays a dividend, the payout would go to all shares of both classes. Whether or not the shares trade makes no difference in terms of receiving the dividend.

Note too: "Each share of Class B common stock is entitled to ten votes and is convertible at any time into one share of Class A common stock."
