I understand the frustration. We all are there.

It’s a square of fabric to shoot at.



Not so simple I am sure, given the supply limitations of material. While bio-organisms can make the strongest silk fibers, they are far more complex than the makers of goo. Goo is a formula, which takes a bit of the time factor out of getting it right. Maybe we give the silkworms to someone else to do what they do best or better than us. We should not have to learn sericulture, being a technical/laboratory company, but we are doing it out of necessity.

The pathetic thing is a bunch of kids at BYU made a ballistic origami shield with Kevlar and we can’t even make a shootpack for testing for our only “customer”



Not a good comparison or quite so pathetic. There are no supply limitations on Kevlar. It is much easier to accomplish your feat when materials are plentiful. When you have little money and rely on others to get to revenues, problems on every side are what is plentiful.
