Retail Market Makers do not hide the amount of shares they are selling. Only shares that are being sold through the brokerage houses hide sell quantities.

BMIC Biltmore International Corporation
1090 King Georges Post Rd.
Suite 203
Edison, NJ 08837

BMIC is used by Biltmore International Corporation for routing their orders. BMIC and others like VFIN, BMAK, etc are used by institutions only. So when they are on the L2 it means there is institutional buying/selling taking place.

However, seeing these market makers doesn't always mean there is an institution who is doing the actual buying/selling. A retail trader who uses a live broker can call in his order and the broker can use one of the institutional market makers to route the order. But generally speaking those kinds of orders are usually small and over with very quickly.

In the case of PLPL, it seems most likely that BMIC is being used to dilute the stock. That's why he's been on the ask & hides his true order size.
