Well over a year ago I said OPEC wanted $60 a barrel oil. Well they have accomplished that goal and the price seems to be holding right in that range. As long as oil / diesel remain in this price range NatGas will continue to attack more users.

The U.S. average retail price of diesel fell 0.4 cent to $2.972 as energy production in the U.S. remained strong and the price of crude oil stalled near $62 a barrel.

It marked the sixth consecutive drop for diesel and prices have fallen 11.4 cents a gallon since Feb. 5.

Trucking’s main fuel is 43.3 cents a gallon higher than it was a year ago when the price was $2.539.
