I actually think one is more likely to get screwed on these sorts of stocks if you put in a limit order. By screwed, I mean not getting the shares you wanted to buy. If a seller sees a limit buy order, they or their brokerage's software will often try to get you to chase by auto raising ask prices and you end up buying nothing.

But if you put in a market, it doesn't seem to me like the software is yet savvy enough to make it a chase.
