Bigworld, Looks like the market is back to bull mode, probably until May when Trump meets with Kim Jong. After that it will depend on what happens at that meeting.
It's possible the Deep State has already concluded that it's too late to take direct action against N. Korea. Back in November, Kim Jong claimed that their nuke tipped missile program had just gone operational. Even if it hasn't, May is an additional 6 months of development time, so from the US perspective it may now be to risky to do anything.
At Rickards' meeting with Pompeo and McMaster, they reportedly said that late March was the time frame after which it would be too risky to do anything. Later Rickards seemed to extend that timetable to mid year.
It's really a no win situation - 1) do nothing and be forced live with N. Korean EMP satellites in orbit daily over the US, or 2) attack and millions of South Koreans will die, and worse - if even one of Kim Jong's nuke missile is operational, Tokyo, Seattle or LA get nuked, or an EMP goes off over Kansas and takes out the US power grid.
Not a good outcome no matter what the US does. What is the answer? Moving to someplace like New Zealand..
