Ombow, Looking at SGH, I see it's tripled from when it started trading last May. Since October it's flattened out and has traded in a wide sideways channel between 27.50-42.50. The chart suggests a possible head + shoulders forming (bearish), though I wouldn't worry too much yet unless it breaks below 30 and then I'd be out if it breaks below 27.50.

I see SGH is a micro/small cap, mkt cap $768 mil, and has an extremely low float of 8.2 mil shares (per Yahoo), with just under 22 mil shares outstanding. The low float can increase the volatility a lot, both up and down. The company is profitable and has nice revenue growth of 66% per Yahoo, with revenues closing in on $1 bil, and debt of $170 mil vrs cash of $23 mil, and net short positions are pretty low at around 4%. This data is all from Yahoo Finance, so it might be somewhat dated.

From my days following tech stocks in the late 1990s, when I see 'DRAM' I think of commoditization, so I never really got into these areas, so can't really offer too many insights there. With the low float you might get a nice trade assuming the overall market holds up. Based on the chart if it drops below 30 I'd start worrying, and if 27.50 doesn't hold I'd be out. Good luck with it :o)
