Bear markets almost always coincide with a recession, and none of the economic indicators are flashing red yet (or even yellow).
Think we're still 3-5 years away from a bear. This market will follow the path from 2001-2008 when the Bush tax cuts spurred a huge economic boom...followed by a bust.
My guess is the next crash will be a sovereign debt crisis. If interest rates go north of 5% it will be incredibly expensive to service the interest on the debt.
