If most of the provinces adopt similar restrictions and political/philosophical approaches to the licensure approval processes, then the more advanced/established companies such as Canopy and Aphria will probably have an advantage. I think it is reasonable to assume that companies with political or economic leverage will also have an advantage, and maybe Chuck's connections here will benefit CBW. (But if the provincial government tends to be more Conservative Party leaning, then that could also be a disadvantage.)
Therefore, I think the concern here is worth paying attention to. We should not assume that all mj growers will have equal access to all markets. This MAY be ONE reason why larger investors are waiting to see how events develop before placing huge bets on CBW, which would contribute to its being relatively undervalued compared to others in the space. JMO.
