SDET – Strategic Development of Electrification Technology a Quebec-based enterprise that focuses on building an industry laboratory for research and development, prototyping, benchmarking and piloting facilities as well as a large scale industrial factory for producing low cost high performance battery cell, with great autonomy as well as ultra-rapid recharge capabilities without degradation and loss of life cycle for wide range of heavy duty industrial electric equipment.

The Alpha battery is aimed for heavy-duty overweight electric battery-powered vehicles and equipment. SDET will offer customizable batteries cells design which will include engineering, fabrication and maintenance. The battery pack includes a battery management system which monitors the equipment’s battery in real-time and create data analytics intended to empower the longevity as well as the best performance. Predictive maintenance analytics will break to barrier of failure.

There’s always a downside— BEV’s batteries are toxic if not disposed of properly. The battery is the heart of the electric vehicle industry, and the country needs a well-established battery recycling system, but recycling these batteries isn’t easy, due to the sophisticated chemical procedures involved. SDET is currently in discussion with partners in the creation of the network for our battery strategy which includes the property of building battery from partial recycle materials without any reduction in autonomy, lifespan and performance.

The service will include battery maintenance and a recycling program. SDET advocates the procurement of local primary materials.
