This morning lets look at the life of a person...maybe even myself as the leading character...and in that person the before and after of being saved...becoming born-again. In Mark 5 we find a awesome story about a madman...so to speak...who was set free by Jesus from the evil that tormented his life. And its a great reminder of what Jesus has done for me...and...you! You see...before i came to know Jesus as Lord...in my own way i was addicted to sin and living for satan…i was broken and bruised…self-destructive…hurting myself...my family and my friends...i was as lost as one could get and that madman inside me was running full bore into the gates of hell! And guess what...you did those same things just not as extreme as most likely i did. But when we ask Jesus into our lives...He doesnt just clean us up. He sets us free and gives us a brand new heart! You see being a believer isnt about getting cleaned up and then trying to hang on for dear life! No...coming to Christ means you have the power of Jesus to overcome your habits...your addictions and your sins. Youre no longer on your own! It’s not just getting the evil out...yes i said evil...its getting the power of God in! Thats what changes us. When Jesus comes to live in us and clothes us with His brand new righteousness…the righteousness of God Himself…then the love of sin is replaced with a love of God...right....The love of sinful passion and sinful pleasure should take a back seat and is replaced with a love for doing the things that honor God. The old you passes away…and the new you takes its place!...we are "born-again!"....dont let satan and your flesh dominate your life...let Jesus set you free once and for all!

I Have No Regrets About My Past...My Past Is Who I Am Today...Born Again!
