I recall that being the case two days ago more or less too before yesterday's fireworks. It was nice to see it get buried briefly into the 27's (NUGT that is) and then recover pretty quick. As WB mentioned, perhaps there ideally was more room for GDX to drop before anyone can confidently call a bottom. Perhaps this is another smaller leg up with said consolidation period right around the corner.
