Yes, that's very true - infrastructure projects will always be here. However, one can argue that gas taxes are necessary - we all drive on the roads so we should all share in their maintenance. The problem with electric vehicles is that since they don't use gas, they don't pay a gas tax. Maybe we should start adding a tax to Tesla owners' electric bills.
