Symantec is pushing mobile security big-time with a product that sounds a lot like Finjan's browser:

Cisco also wants to get into this space and has been transitioning from a hardware to a software company. Then you have all the other players.

Would Symantec really give Finjan a big chunk of cash so they can build market share with a competing product? Buyout price $250M - $500M possible. $9 - $18 a share. Upper end could be reached with a bidding war. $500M is pocket change to Cisco to keep the patent portfolio and mobile technology away from Symantec. There are a number of other companies that don't want Symantec to take over infringement cases against them! BIDDING WAR!
