Ah, but it has gone on this long with no result and the chances are slimmer everyday (if that is possible, meaning that they are not already at zero) that Nunnally will lead a rescue attempt.

By the way, when you say "it wasn't supposed to take this long", according to who? People who are telling fanciful tales of a Nunnally led reorganization to pump up the hopes of others?
