hunchboy, I finally found, probably the most recent internet information dated 12/2016, on the subject on nano-aluminum and its use for U.S. power grids. It's an interview with Dr. Srini Siripurapu, vice president of R&D at General Cable. He stated that 7% of energy is lost between generator sources and a customer's meter. And that results in a annual loss of $25 billion in the U.S. alone.
It my conclusion that nano-aluminum cable might be more expensive than copper cabling of the power grid but that, over time, maybe several years, the increased cost will be justified. This is why I'm still holding onto my MHTX shares since MHTX is partnered with General Cable in nano-aluminum development.
