It would cost a lot more than 50k to drill and produce a well like that. I work with Devon Energy and it costs 100k a day just to drill. I know our wells are substantially more sophisticated and we have to pay a range and variety of different consulting and production companies but still. They have to set surface casing and cement regardless. I figure each well at that depth, with them owning their own drilling rig would cost anywhere from 200k to 300k on the low side. That involves, permits, setting the pad, fuel costs, moving the rig, casing, cement, drill time, over head costs, completions and tank batteries and pump jacks. No way they're only paying 50k a well. Lol. But it is CEGX, so it's possible. Hahaha. We look for a 4 to 1 on investment. Our over all costs per well are 5 million with a 10 thousand foot lateral. Our hole depths st total depth range from 21000 feet to 24000 feet. So we want about 20 million in production to be good. I would assume they would want to produce around 1 million slats worth over the life of the well. So 8000 to 15000 barrels on the life of that well would be deemed successful. Just a little input.
