In PDT the vast majority of cancer cells are destroyed via the mitochondria but that is a moot point,PDT is nearly 100% effective in destroying cancer cells in vitro,and equally effective in cancer cells in all animals, this has been well understood within the scientific community for many years..but even that is a moot point. The main concern is the design of a safe effective procedure and it's limitations. GLTA
