Avi Riechendal destroyed 3D Systems. I hope he doesn’t do the same here. During the 3D printing hype cycle, 4-5 years ago, 3D Systems was trading around 80 dollars a share. Avi went on a spending spree, buying up little companies and traveling the world to raise awareness of the miracle of 3D printing. Once the shorts started attacking the inflated stock prices of all of the 3D printing companies at that point, they all crashed. Most have recovered some of their value, but 3D Systems is still struggling.
