This answers to my satisfaction the question I've posted on this board a couple of times in the past few weeks - i.e.: Is it possible the conversion was motivated, at least in part, by potential suitors/partners wanting to deal with a "U.S.-free" LXRP?

It's not like "opportunities in the Canadian cannabinoid products sector" haven't been available. The wording clearly suggests, rather, that LXRP's been unable to "exploit" them, and consequently filed the S4.

I figure we'll be in a holding pattern until LXRP's rid itself of any association with the U.S., and then things will (hopefully) get interesting very quickly.
