I think it's just a matter of which pocket the shares are kept. Looking at the link, Pershing Square Capital Management had 111,569,796 shares. It was Pershing Square Holdings Ltd. that purchased its initial 44,741,273 shares. Both are Pershing Square. How they differ I cannot say as I have not looked in to their structure.
