I agree with your comments and with others on the Board. Plus, they should have wrote “a head” not “ahead”. We’ve been told for many years now that mass production is right around the corner and “metric tons” blah blah blah. I believe in the potential, and the vision, but don’t believe anything else at the moment. I too have often wondered how many pounds of silk we are able to make. Supposedly the Indiana facility was capable of producing enough silk for the shootpacks per past public info, but we needed to move lab and expand?
Increased floor space tells us nothing about actual production. All we know is they have hired one microbiologist and claim to have increased their “staff” but I challenge anyone to tell me how many employees they have that make up their “creative team”, “research team”, etc. The people on this board had to figure out on their own who the microbiologist was. There are a lot of very good people on this board who are shareholders and I trust the information they gather because they do their DD.
Can you imagine if Coca Cola or GEICO told Warren Buffet to stop calling their customers/vendors/etc? No, you can’t, because it would never happen. Statements like that are an effort to curb investor research and due diligence. I can see why it doesn’t sit well with many people on this board. And you are 100% right when you say if Kim put out more basic details others wouldn’t feel the need to dig on their own. But I don’t think that will stop anyone from doing whatever DD they feel they need to do to feel comfortable investing in this company. If Kim is worried about losing vendors or consultants then maybe he needs to flip the script and make it so KBLB is of such importance that the vendors and consultants are afraid of losing KBLB.
I have spoken to Ben one time in the past 6 or however many years I have now been invested in this. I only spoke with him because he asked me to call him after I emailed him some questions. He was very nice and easy to talk to but I honestly felt he didn’t know anymore than I already knew from reading this Board or the PR’s and financials.
