Great letter from Reps Smith and Bacon-
I was impressed with the letter on Sc today and appreciate how fast Jim Sims was able to issue a PR on it. I have one personal problem: Nebraska has three Congressional reps. Two of them had their names on the letter. One name was absent and that would be the rep from MY district. I just sent him a message suggesting he get with the program. I would suggest that any board members that live in the Nebraska First Congressional District contact Rep Fortenberry. The Elk Creek project will be about 15 miles from the edge of his district. There will certainly be people living in his district that are employed at this mine. It will have significant economic impact in his district. He needs to wake up!
