Sorry for the late post everyone. Nothing to drastic to report, but that, I did get to speak with Antoinios Bertos, He first apologized for not getting back to me, last month. It has been very hectic, He is working to turn the company around, and build it back up. He says we are very small compared to other shipping companies out there, But we are growing, and doing it the right way. It is just going to take time to get the ball rolling, But with the second ship it will help a lot, and is looking to add more to the fleet in the near future. The shipping demand there has bounced back and there are more shipping orders than what is available to handle now. A complete turnaround from a couple of years ago. He is expecting some very nice revenues coming in with this turnaround.
As for the restricted shares, are being held by the company to be used only if necessary for unexpected ship maintenance and or repairs.
and yes our free trading shares are the 166m. I asked him about the float, but he did not know. So -
I also talked to him about freeing up the TA, and after a little conversation I believe he will ungag the TA.
The new ship will be in service this spring.
He is also going to be putting out more info for investors . He has a lot of stuff coming for us, No he will not say what is coming. He is understanding the importance of communication.
This is a learning experience for him. In a short time he will be adding a person for the IR. But for a while now he is trying to keep costs low. and do a lot of the things himself.
I believe Antonios is sincere in his conversation with me. Beings as being greek he was hard to understand at times. He is very polite, and tried to answer every question. Lol, yea he says he has a huge amount of emails to get through. He welcomed me to call back and talk anytime. If anyone wants to call I have the number.
Bottom line, a couple of days ago I was feeling like we were hung out to dry, but after speaking with him, and understanding what he is working with also, makes me feel good about my investment here. It may not shoot the moon right away, but in short time we all should see real appreciation in the company and our sharevalue.
