...i lived in north/east Pennsylvanian for 24 years...and in those cold, harsh, snowy winters...i feed the birds. i usually had about 4 big feeders going and its awesome on those snowy days to watch them...all kinds and colors...to come in the morning and thru the day..to eat of the free food there for the taking...and...back here in east Tennessee these past 7 years...i do the same. And its also awesome as the birds start to get kinda sorta use to you...how they will fly from the feeder when you fill it but they only go up in the nearest tree above as they know you are there to help...not harm. And all the same when you pull us a chair to just enjoy their actions and song and they do so rejoice...especially in the morning after sitting in a cold tree all night thru the sometimes bitter cold...awaiting the daylight of morning to enjoy their breakfast. So this morning im on the back porch having my coffee as y'all know by now i often do. Once again the birds are a happy bunch celebrating another day that God has made and blessed them with...and...for the food they have before them. So just to fit in with the crowd...and as i sometimes do..i join in with the celebration! And yes i sung a song also...this mornings selection was..."Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus"...however the birds were giving me a look like i might have been out of key. Hummm...So this morning i want to encourage each of you to stop for just a moment and think about what God has done in your life and what He is still doing. He awoke us again this morning and i can assure you if we keep our faith and trust in the creator of the earth and heavens He will sustain us according to His perfect love for us. And let us try and remember with all that we are...that God always has a plan and purpose and what God is truly doing in our life no matter how much we cant understand it...no matter what we are facing this day...God is molding us into the likeness of His Son Jesus preparing us for our eternal home in heaven! So...take that coffee and go out and sing hallelujah with the birds this morning...just make sure you sing in key..they are a picky bunch!
