Clones could be sold to other cultivators, but a I believe a real market is to sell to personal growers either directly or through retailers.
The hardest part of growing is the first three weeks when growing from seed. For average grower, there is risk with buying seeds. You first have to germinate them, which is not automatic, and then you have to carefully nurture them for the next three weeks to get them to the same point a clone would have younat on day one. Once MJ passes the seedling stage, it is a very robust and forgiving plant.
