I don't believe that's accurate. From a minor bit of research on how Holdings Companies are to report on their financials, they seem to practice what is known as "consolidated financials". In the case of BLDV, this is confirmed in the 10Q Report "SUMMARY OF SIGNIFICANT ACCOUNTING POLICIES" section. In Consolidated Financials, the net performance of the holdings company as a whole is presented rather than individual parts to give shareholders a comprehensive picture of what they're invested in. I think that's actually in the benefit of the investor too. Plus we as shareholders do not possess the levers or decision making ability over individual subs of a holdings company, nor do we have a complete grasp of how they interact with each other and the economies of scale/synergies they generate from being under one parent, so it makes sense to see the whole picture instead.

TLDR-Answered my own question. Holdings companies, when practicing "Consolidated Financials" display the financial picture as a whole rather than individual parts.
