Today will turn out to be an enormous turning point in the history of marijuana in America

Sessions' repeal of the Cole Memo will ironically speed up the pace of federal legalization of cannabis

The Cole Memo, in place since 2013, was a nice safety net, but like training wheels on a bicycle, if you leave them on too long, you are not going to be able to develop the ability to ride a bike without them

5 years of the Cole Memo took away Congress' hunger to change the federal laws surrounding MJ because they didn't need to do so in order for the MJ industry to thrive in America

Today that has changed

The training wheels are now off

And Congress is finally going to learn how to ride a bicycle without assistance

I am confident that the McClintock-Polis amendment will be added alongside the Rohrabacher-Blumenauer amendent -- to the federal budget renewal due on 1/19 -- and the combination of these 2 amendments is much stronger than the Cole Memo and will prevent any and all federal interference in both medical and recreational MJ moving forward
