TRONIX- Tencent, Alibaba, 2 cents per coint, alternative to traditional coins?

HI, I am new to crypto and recently found TRONIX. It seems pretty legit based on this Forbes article. Made by a guy from Tencent and Alibaba. Are there are "alternative" coins that I should consider, or does this seem like a decent bet. Currently only about 2 cents per coin.
