It successfully met all the criteria per the International Electrotechnical Committee (IEC) Standard IEC 61400-2 for "Small Wind Turbines."

That is also a verifiable lie as the criteria includes long-term real world testing to confirm reliability. Whatever ATA Engineering did, it had nothing to do with certification. I had this email forwarded to me from someone I know. You can confirm for yourself that ATA Engineering has nothing to do with certification.

There was no intent to ever do certification. The Small Wind Certification Council makes it clear that you must have an application in place before conducting any third party testing so they can confirm everything is done properly and the unit being tested is what you are seeking to certify. I have given the link many times proving this from their website.

Any talk of certification is pure FRAUD. They have never taken any steps to achieve actual certification even though they claim off and on that the WindCutter is certified.
