I'd speculate that Missling may not be solely in charge of planning these trials since Anavex is relying on others for partial funding. It seems overly simplified to think Missling is the only entity pushing buttons or pulling levers in managing.

Several organizations are putting their hard cash into helping fund these trials and it's reasonable they want a say in planning how the funds are spent. It seems like a few months back there was information that the Rett Syndrome organization was conducting an analysis of the trial planning within their internal review panels.

Don't read into this that I don't think Missling is doing his job. And, he may well be in a team leadership position. But to think that he knows the absolute when, where, what, and how that come out of Rett Syndrome or MJFF funding process seems naive as it pertains to planned trial adjudication.
