That's likely tax-loss selling of GNGR shares bought years ago at a vastly higher price. Given the soaring broad stock market just about everyone has gains they would like to offset with losses. While I almost never sell my winners, and my index funds are tax efficient, I do have some very old mutual funds that throw off taxable capital gains.

Almost every year, near year-end, I've recommend that investors here with tax losses should consider selling. If for some reason you like GNGR, you can buy back later. Talk with your tax adviser or broker.
