Cannabinoid based biotech's will turn to sourcing Cannabinoids from biosynthesis.

Will, huh?

You provide no real evidence though one can suspect it is likely some drugs will require biosynthesis but your fine government puts all manner of obstacles in the way of any R&D.

Notable is that hemp is used to produce commercial quantities of CBD and even THC. In order to provide pharmaceutical grade drugs, INSY utilizes other cannabinoids in my understanding.

Hemp gives you a "dirty" drug without extreme separation and cleaning.

I have forgotten the name of a Cornell chemistry professor and links to his research. He had produced something akin to an immature cannabinoid that he thought produced drugs superior to then current "marijuana" used in medical research.

His patents were passed around like a hooker to various biotechs until the last one with a license to expiring patents told the prof his patented drug was too difficult to manufacture. He cried out he had whipped up many batches with ease in his small laboratory to no avail.

I stood beside the angry professor and his wife in tears and suggested they try using it to treat brain cancer.

Everybody got a good laugh. Even the professor and his wife lightened up a bit as the informal confrontation broke up.

As you probably know there is more or less serious research with cannabinoids treating brain cancer today. It was suspected even then there was a likely aid in treating the cancers.

I don't reject your thesis, Seedinvestor, but it seems to me there are far more immediate concerns.

Best, Terry
