trader guy: tax reform and national debt

I am happy with the current tax code. I live in Central Maryland--high personal income and property taxes. Right now, it appears that I will end up paying more Federal income tax after the tax legislation takes effect. Lots of middle-class people will be screwed by a tax law that raises, not reduces, the national debt.

People will not know whether the tax reform will adversely affect them until AFTER the 2018 election, i.e., until early 2019 when they prepare their returns.
