Stocktrademan- quick question. How long did it take for the coins to show up in your wallet from CPU mining. Have been running for hours now and don't see any transactions or anything happening but CPU has been hard at work.

I was wondering the same thing really. The PlusOneCoin app hasn't made any new deposits, I thought it would be at +200 or so by now. Zilch. Perhaps I was so early I got 50 coins for discovering new blocks in the blockchain and now it is more difficult. Still leaving it on to see what it does.

However my coins are increasing using the HappyPool CPU Miner technique which was running at the same time. Since I started running it constantly it has given me +55 coins, so I recommend doing that way. Apparently the HappyPool won't give you any of your coins until you get 120 or so if I read correctly. So if you start to use that method realistically a single computer looks like it would take two weeks running the program 24/7 to be able to do anything to get to that level.

So try the other one too at the same time that's the best I can suggest right now based on my findings.

FYI I was looking at also how profitable doing a happypool type of effort with real bitcoin with one laptop and it figured out to be about 14 cents a month so sorta put that idea aside...If you get one of those single specially built mining modules for 600-800 it might be able to produce a 100% return per month right now but that is before expenses and electricity and it just keeps getting more difficult and equipment goes obsolete fast.

Noticed all these new firms are trying to mine the copycat bitcoins now not the main one, the blockchains are probably easier still right now....People are just hoarding the coins anyhow like stock buys anticipating the coins will go up. Are these coins instead just glorified stock shares, ones that you have to build your own facility to create instead of just logging into a broker to trade. Probably easier to just buy their stocks or the bitcoin trust. Just saying...
