For the intended benefit of followers and/or friends alike:

I just added a few ETP in the wife's regular IRA. Now holding 750 units...not a meaningful size by any measure but it signals a beginning accumulation period.

There's plenty to like here for me personally as I've always been a fan of logistics plays. But there's a far more interesting aspect for those interested in yield-oriented numbers. I say this because it's not my goal as I'm all about "hard" numbers derived from a potential for strong capital appreciation coming my way after pricing compression has ruled.

Look at the past few years' earnings, distributions and changing directional slopes. What you'll see (I'm talking to newcomers here, of course.) is a striking history. While I'm forever pointing out the risks of thinking there's a future in history (!), there are some things we can certainly surmise. It calls into question one's risk tolerance yet great profits may be found in the darker shadows. I happen to be surrounded by a number of such rising stars right at this moment.

On the surface, we can see an ascending distribution curve DESPITE challenging reported earnings at times. And it's a steadily occurring thing. That ought to mean a great deal to distribution hunters. Since I'm not in that camp for the most part, it's the potential for valuation-recovery that I'm especially liking enough to make ETP a key featured pick.

Good luck to all!
