The miners are their own worst enemy. For one the Paulson guy who I have no great respect for, but he does have a following amongst the heavy hitters. Anyway, his take is more or less right and have seen the lack of foresight and skills the management involved in the sector have displayed in recent years.

Further down the chain amongst the smaller critters things are much worse, so the Big funds that would breath new life into the sector need to get shaken out of their current mode where buy the dip is so easy - patience is the key
