The recent disappointments with Idcc are in no small part due to the way in which management has communicated with us. In retrospect, it would have been better if they had not been so wildly enthusiastic in March. The stock price would be about where it is now and the longs would not have seen the need to sell. The court filing due on Monday represents an opportunity to clear up what in my mind has been the biggest negative that Idcc has had to face, namely the humiliating hints from Nok of insider trading by management. First of all, it was and is none of their business. Secondly coming from a company as large and respected as Nok, it is a blow not only at the credibility of management but also the respectability of Idcc itself. If Idcc does not see fit to answer this in the court filing on Monday, then I believe they should explain their position in a CC.
