Here’s a mathematical exercise for the hell of it…
The Semcon suit as far as I can see breaks down like this. There are three Huawei companies with 22 accused products (HUAWEI DEVICE USA INC., HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES USA INC., and HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES CO., LTD.), There are two Mediatek companies with 11 accused products (MEDIATEK INC. and MEDIATEK USA INC.,), There are two STMICROELECTRONIC companies with 34 accused products (STMICROELECTRONICS INC. and STMICROELECTRONICS N.V.), There is one Texas Instrument Company with 19 accused products (TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INCORPORATED), And two ZTE companies with 33 accused patents (ZTE CORPORATION, ZTE (USA), INC., and ZTE (TX), INC.,)

For the hell of it let’s just say there are 5 companies, not counting their subsidiaries. And let’s say that Semcon wins a total of $50,000,000.

50,000,000/5 companies = 10,000,000. There are a total of 119 accused products but the average is about 23.
10,000,000/23 = $434,800 per accused product.
From here it boils down to how many chips were/are being sold in the USA? Is the patent enforceable for the full 20 years? And CAN THEY WIN !!!!
I believe Semcon found new products in several companies during discover and they had an extended Markman hearing which I think they had a sold win. There can be some real money here!

Fingers crossed!!!
