Oct. 16--A rain shower began around 4am and continued until 10am. The rain gauge show 1 and three quarters inch. There was no need to work the soil. Too wet. Weed removal will resume tomorrow.
I found Rico sitting on the chair in the greenhouse. He was wet and dirty. CC the Calico Cat followed me inside because that is where I place the food on wet days. She swatted the little black kitten and he ran out. After she finished breakfast and stalked away to hunt mice he came inside to finish the leftovers.
