So this was originally a LGND internal project. I'd say it's too difficult a project for a small company like this with limited skills, so ideally I'd like to see them partner it if data looks at all promising. Can't say I've looked at it in detail - my interest has been in their thyroid beta agonist, which was originally out of Metabasis.

This paper (found by Miljenko) is what first re-engaged my interest in the company earlier this year:
